Rainglass is a rain chain that hang from the eaves and allow you to enjoy the dropping water through the glass. It beautifully reflects the changing weather itself by creating soft sunlight through the glass on a sunny day and slowly rotates, reflecting transparent shadows on a windy day. Based on the motif of “TATEWAKU”, a traditional Japanese pattern, the rainglass is composed of two long curved surfaces, a form making use of the Toyama glass company’s large-scale glass manufacturing.
